Steve Surell is a Senior Manager and has been with Nakupuna Companies since March 2018.

Steve oversees large-scale management consulting projects in the Office of the Secretary of Defense and Infrastructure, as well as facilities modernization efforts for the United States Marine Corps. He brings nearly 15 years of experience in information technology management, executive leadership, business transformation, and marketing. Steve specializes in quickly understanding complex business problems and finding the right people and skillsets to solve them, creating impactful solutions for our customers.

Prior to joining the Nakupuna Companies, Steve spent 10 years in federal service as a Management & Program Analyst supporting the Navy Installations Command and the Under Secretary of the Navy. There, he spearheaded large transformation initiatives to the Navy’s toughest management challenges, receiving Meritorious Civilian Service Awards from 2014-2018.

Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from St. Philip’s College and a certification in Healthcare Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Duke University. He is also certified in Lean Six Sigma, Knowledge Management, and as an Amazon Business Professional.
