Steven Wright is Chief Financial Officer and has been with the Nakupuna Companies since 2018, previously serving as Controller from 2018 until 2022.

Serving as the Chief Financial Officer, Steven oversees finance, accounting, and treasury functions of the Nakupuna Companies, while also providing strategic direction to our enterprise as we continue to grow. While formerly serving as Controller, Steven helped lead the implementation of the Nakupuna Companies Shared Services model to more accurately allocate costs across Nakupuna’s numerous entities, and provided management and leadership of our globally dispersed Finance & Accounting team.

Prior to joining the Nakupuna Companies, Steven provided audit and assurance services for public accounting firms, and he previously served as Assistant Controller and Compliance manager for an information technology services firm. While his experience has primarily been with government consulting, Steven has also worked with the hospitality and technology industries, as well as with employee benefit plan administration.

Steven earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Tech, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
