Tom Bishop is the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and has been with the Nakupuna Companies since 2017.

A financial analyst at heart, Tom truly enjoys the complexity of financial management in government consulting work. Working closely with the Nakupuna Companies’ chief financial officer, controller, and program managers, Tom determines monthly project revenue and analyzes overall project performance. His day also includes overseeing and safeguarding the budgets for the entire Nakupuna Companies, carefully preparing all monthly financial reviews for the leadership team and developing provisional billing rates and incurred cost submissions for the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA). Another important component of Tom’s daily watch is overseeing the contracts team and its shared services with all business lines within the Nakupuna Companies.

Earlier in his career, Tom spent 17 years in corporate finance for government consulting companies where he often served in the role of program manager for various Department of Defense agencies. His career tenure also includes working as a stock analyst in Bangkok, Thailand.

Tom earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from California State University, Fullerton.
